Darlington House Wedding Planner- La Jolla
Elizabeth and John both are very busy in their professional lives, so they knew hiring a Darlington House wedding planner was a must for them.
Working out the details was so much fun as Elizabeth had a simple, spanish inspired vision of beauty for the day.
The bridesmaids wore gowns of their choice in gold tones. Many were obtained from Rent the Runway. A great alternative for a different glam gown on a wedding day! The men wore classic ties and hid fireball whiskey in their pockets!
One of the most challenging parts of the day was flipping the space after ceremony.
Because the guest count was going to max out the patio space, we used the rose garden, where the reception would also take place. The tables were semi set and staged behind lattice so guests would not see them, immediately after ceremony we ushered guests to the Andalusian Patio for cocktails and appetizers and began the incredibly fast transformation! It was all hands on deck but we made it in time! It worked great, but was just a bit difficult for a short time. And the couple and guests never knew of the challenges, making it a success!
And really, and wedding with a mariachi and churros is awesome, right?!
