Home Brewer Wedding
When you are well known for your home brew craft beer, people expect you to serve it at your wedding. So finding a place that let’s you bring in your own beer, in really short notice, can be an issue!
Marcus and Cinaid were always planning to get married, but his impending Navy deployment came sooner than expected, and she found out she was pregnant with their first child together, a son, so it was best to be married before he left the country.
Based on their guest list, we had only a few options for venues for DIY beer and food. Both requirements for them. So we selected Marina Village North Lawn and the Marine Room for their Home Brewer Wedding and reception.
Inviting many from the beer industry, meant there was going to be a lot of craft beer present, many even arranging a bottle share at their tables. All sharing rare and especially delicious bottles of craft beer.
Marcus brewed a kiwi double Ipa called She’s a KIIPA, which he kegged for all to enjoy. It was a nice tribute to his new wife and their hobby.
The royal blue color scheme throughout was a nod to his Navy ties, and they liked the look of the color against the dark carpeted room.
The mother and sister of the groom opted to make the flower arrangements and cake/cupcakes as gifts to the couple.
