Del Mar Same Sex Wedding

Tucson couple Jennie and Christina wanted to be married on the beach in San Diego, one of their favorite places to visit, and the birthplace of Christina!

When they contacted me a year before their potential same sex wedding, they let me know a trip to scout locations would be happening in the near future, and I could meet them in person to help in venue selection at that time. As well as to discuss some of the destination wedding planning ideas that I would need to be aware of.

We immediately hit it off and wanted to work together, so we set about discussing ideas for their day right away.  We communicated mostly by email, except when I made a visit to see them in Tucson to help their photographer on their ENGAGEMENT SESSION.

These two beautiful, laid back, silly, goofy girls are such a joy to be around. Their love and respect for each other and open communication is so refreshing to see in a relationship, and they just love being together!

On the wedding day, it threatened rain and was a bit chilly, but we were able to proceed with all wedding day details just as we had planned, and the day turned out perfectly.

I am so thankful they picked me to work with, and I love that we stay in touch and have seen each other again since the wedding for their belated honeymoon and LIFESTYLE SHOOT.  I look forward to calling them friends for a very long time.
