I was really proud to be a DIY bride, but there was no way I could have pulled off such a great event without the help of Affairs by Amy. I booked Amy for day-of coordination, but she did so much more than that. We met for an initial consultation (at no cost) to discuss the desired vibe and aesthetics of the event. Amy, unlike some other vendors, never forced her own opinions. She was completely open to what I wanted (as untraditional as it may be). She embraced my budgetary constraints, and was full of ideas for everything from dessert table arrangement to florist recommendations. When we had our venue walk-thru, let's just say that I saw the business side of Amy. The girl can get things done. She wanted my event to be just as beautiful as I did, and she was more than willing to stand up to venue personnel in order to get it right. The week before the wedding, Amy took over as primary contact for all vendors. On the day of, she seamlessly handled the cancellation of my DJ (TNT Entertainment) while managing the set up of rentals, catering, and the ceremony. She is AMAZING. Thanks to Amy, my husband and I got to truly enjoy our wedding. It was the greatest party we have ever been to. I had nothing to worry about the entire day! Amy is my wedding fairy godmother. I was a HUGE mess trying to plan my wedding. Between owning and running two businesses, I have no idea what I was thinking trying to plan a wedding in 3 months. Luckily, I found Amy, who was an ABSOLUTE life saver! She was there for me through everything and was so professional and really had her stuff together. I am sure my wedding would have failed without her, there are so many things that go into a wedding that I had no idea existed, and she just pulled every last little detail together flawlessly. I had three coordination meetings with my venue and she was there for every one, and when I was deathly ill for one of these meetings, she ran the entire meeting for me being able to convey to the venue exactly what I wanted for all of the details. She even had a selection of decorations that fit my theme perfectly and filled some gaps where I needed some extra decor. Amy is so wonderful and confident! She knew exactly what I needed and also knew how to protect me from people and other vendors that may have been trying to take advantage of a bride just hoping everything turns out right. Amy is amazing at what she does, she is a serious wedding pro and really knows everything about weddings. She made sure everything went smoothly for the wedding and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! I was a mess, and I needed more than just a coordinator, I needed Amy, my wedding fairy god mother!

I cannot recommend Amy highly enough. She was absolutely fantastic! My husband and I hired her as a partial planner. I wasn't sure what that meant exactly, but her recommendation and availability went way above my expectations. From venue selection to catering to DJ to photography, she was spot on every time. She took our inputs and really helped us craft an incredible evening. Her fee was, hands-down, the best money we spent for the wedding. On the day of the wedding, she went above and beyond. She made the event go so seamlessly that it seemed too easy. She took care of all the little details so we didn't have to. It was an incredibly stress-free experience, despite hearing horror stories of the opposite, and I don't think we could have done it without her. HIRE HER NOW!
Our wedding was nothing short of crazy. But it was a good kind of crazy because of Amy. Let's backtrack. Sometime back around mid-2012, the FH and I were in the beginning stages of planning our wedding. I plan things for a living (but in a completely different field) and thought we could handle everything ourselves. But after we met with another vendor and realized after we made the non-refundable payment, we were in over our heads (and grossly blew our budget on the service). On the same day, I had made the decision to meet with two wedding planners. One of the planners actually cancelled on me in the same day. But the other conveniently told me she would meet me at a Starbucks near the house vs me driving down south 40 mins to meet up. Enter Amy June, wedding planner extraordinaire and magic maker. The next year of planning was made extremely easy. Amy knows her vendors and she knows her industry. Her pricing is more than reasonable and she is worth every single penny. She directed us to meetings with clients and even introduced us to some really good people. Amy makes your wedding a priority and it doesn't matter if she has 5 weddings in one week, when its your day, it is YOUR DAY. On the days leading to the wedding, I was a hot mess. All of my planning, my ideas, my family - everything was going nuts. (Shoes missing, cars not starting, parents last minute complaints, missing bridal party rehearsal dinner venue forgetting about us and making us wait an hour for food! See previous Yelp). I look back fondly on the day and now call it a day of "controlled chaos". (Any one with a huge wedding who denies any craziness is LYING :). ) Amy was amazing. She made sure that everything was where it needed to be and helped make the room look absolutely beautiful. During the reception, she fluffed my veil and made sure that our huge entourage made it down the aisle in one piece. She ensured that we got our beers (important) at dinner and that the reception was moving at a steady pace (strict venue!). To this day, Amy is more than just our coordinator - she has become an amazing friend. What more can you want? We direct all of our engaged friends and family to use her services and always will!
